From that understanding, she creates treatments that help your system naturally return to health and wellbeing.
Acupuncture Visits at Great Turning Healing Center.
Each acupuncture session offers a focused, therapeutic experience designed to quiet the mind, calm the body, resolve pain and address your specific symptoms. As tension eases and breath deepens, you may notice a sense of pain relief, ease, energy, or renewed clarity. These treatments support the body’s natural repair mechanisms— improving circulation, calming the nervous system, resolving pain, balancing hormones, or strengthening immunity and energy.
Herbal Medicine & Functional Nutrition Consultations at Guide to Wellness.
These sessions empower you to take an active role in your own healing process. Together, you and Susannah develop focused herbal medicine and nutrition strategies to support your health goals. These may include improvement in sleep, energy, digestion, hormones, immunity, strength, or better focus, calming and pain relief. Each plan is practical, sustainable, and uniquely tailored to your health goals — helping you integrate natural solutions into daily life for long term health and wellbeing.
Jack graduated with a Master’s in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he trained in integrative clinics alongside diverse practitioners. This collaborative model shaped his belief in holistic, team-based care—a philosophy he brings to Great Turning.
Medicine captivated him in high school while helping his mother study for nursing school. But as a pre-med student, he grew disillusioned by a system that often overlooked the therapies that had healed him —craniosacral work, qi gong, and herbalism. His search for a more expansive path led to acupuncture after witnessing its profound effects at Great Turning.
In his practice, Jack has seen acupuncture work minor miracles—helping long COVID patients breathe freely again, supporting recovery from traumatic injuries, and reigniting passion for life’s simple pleasures. Every session deepens his respect for this ancient medicine and the resilience of the people who trust him with their care.
